Finding the right assessment for your needs.
What is the process?.
Step One: Intake
It always starts with finding out what you need from the process. Because everybody is different, it is important that assessment is bespoke to suit your requirements. In this regard, being able to have a thorough talk and evaluation initially regarding your referral and your needs is the first step.
Intake is often completed separately so that you can prepare for assessment day.
Step Two: Assessment
The right assessment choice goes a long way. By finding the right assessment to you use for your needs we can come up with appropriate solutions.
Assessments are thorough and will help you gain insight into your behaviours and psychological processes by providing you with a bigger picture of your life and what you need from here on in to be supported.
Assessment may be completed face-to-face either in the practice rooms or at your home*. Typically allow for two hours for administering the assessment test batteries.
Step Three: Scoring & Reflection
After the assessment is completed allow for two weeks for scoring and interpreting. You will then be invited back in to go through feedback in regard to your results and figure out next steps. This process is collaborative. Typically allow for an hour to go through your results and interpretation.
